Dall’8 giugno un nuovo volo diretto collegherà Roma e Larnaca
Dall’8 giugno Italia e Cipro saranno più vicine grazie al nuovo collegamento diretto fra Roma e Larnaca. Un’importante sviluppo per il network della Compagnia italiana che favorirà gli scambi commerciali e il turismo. L’Italia è uno dei principali partner economici per Cipro. Secondo i dati Istat, nel 2015 l’interscambio tra i due Paesi, favorito anche dai comuni interessi nell’area mediterranea, si è rafforzato registrando esportazioni italiane per 263 milioni di euro a fronte di importazioni per 32 milioni.
I voli Roma-Larnaca verranno effettuati due volte alla settimana con orari che consentono di proseguire, grazie a comode coincidenze presso l’hub Alitalia di Fiumicino, verso 89 destinazioni in Italia, Europa, Medio ed Estremo Oriente, Nord Africa, Asia e Americhe, tra cui Santiago del Cile, Città del Messico (dal 16 giugno) e Pechino (dal 18 luglio). I passeggeri in prosecuzione potranno anche usufruire dell’assistenza della nuova squadra transiti (“Transit Team”) che li accompagnerà rapidamente al gate di partenza del volo successivo.
Da Roma Fiumicino il nuovo volo per Larnaca partirà ogni Mercoledì e Sabato alle ore 22.35 con arrivo alle 2.40 (orario locale) del giorno successivo. Da Larnaca gli aerei Alitalia decolleranno il Giovedì e la Domenica alle ore 4.50 (orario locale) per arrivare a Roma alle 07.15. Il collegamento sarà effettuato con aerei Airbus A320 allestiti in due classi di viaggio, Business ed Economy. Alitalia adds Cyprus to its international network
New direct international service will connect Rome and Larnaca from 8 June
The distance between Italy and Cyprus will soon seem a little shorter, thanks to the new direct flights linking Rome and Larnaca from 8 June. The new service represents an important launch pad for the further development of trade and tourism. Italy is one of Cyprus’s main trading partners, and according to figures issued by the Italian Statistics Institute Istat, trade between the two countries, encouraged by common interests in the Mediterranean, continued to grow in 2015, with Italian exports standing at €263 million and imports at €32 million.
There will be two Rome-Larnaca flights a week, scheduled to ensure convenient connections at Alitalia’s Fiumicino hub to 89 destinations in Italy and Europe, the Middle and Far East, North Africa, Asia and the Americas, including Santiago, Mexico City (from 16 June) and Beijing (from 18 July). Passengers will also be able to take advantage of the new Transit Team, which will provide assistance to accompany them quickly to the departure gate for their connecting flight.
Flights to Larnaca will depart from Rome Fiumicino every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:35 pm, arriving at 2:40 am (local time) the following day, while Alitalia aircraft will take off from Larnaca on Thursdays and Sundays at 4.50 am (local time), arriving in Rome at 7.15 am. The service will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft featuring two classes of service, Business and Economy. Alitalia’s MilleMiglia loyalty programme members will be able to earn and redeem miles on these new flights.
